R&D project PuLS – Parking and Charging in the City
The aim of the R&D project PuLS - parking and charging in the city - is to investigate and implement in a holistic approach possibilities for increasing the access and the release of charging infrastructure on private land within an urban environment. This approach is intended to serve as a use case within Smart City Dortmund. The project also aims to contribute to traffic control solutions for emission-free inner cities and significantly reduce parking space search traffic in densely populated urban neighbourhoods.
The outline for the project PuLS in the program of the NOW GmbH - National Organization for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology of the BMVI was positively assessed in the first instance. Following the presentation of the project outline by the project management organisation PTJ in Berlin, the proposal and related documents have now been submitted.
The project is scheduled for spring 2019. In addition to the results of the extensive pilot phase, implementation concepts and business models are to be developed over a period of 3 years.
The project consortium consisting of intulion solutions, ef.Ruhr, eluminocity, DEW21, The City of Dortmund, FH Dortmund, TU Dortmund and S-Tec with the associated partners Dortmund Westfalenhallen and Deutsche Telekom, is looking forward to the project start.
